The day before I left I took one last spur of the moment drive up to the West End Overlook. One of those it’s-nine-at-night-but-I-don’t-feel-like-going-home kind of moments. No one was there but me. I stood there till my hands got too cold and reminisced about past memories. The good, the bad, the not so memorable but somehow they’re important memories. It was sad standing there by myself realizing that I was going to leave everything I had known for the past 20 years behind. But I am so thankful for the people I met and the times we had together. I’m moving forward with my life but I will not forget the people who helped shape me and fostered my growth as a person. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Fuck yeah.
